AGRIS Country Hubs at Research Data Alliance meeting

AGRIS Country Hubs from Georgia and Republic of Moldova participated in the tenth anniversary Plenary meeting of Research Data Alliance (RDA) from 21-23 of March. The Research Data Alliance was launched in 2013 with the aim to build a social and technical infrastructure to facilitate open access to research data, support global research, develop more open and accessible communities to promote the discovery and reuse of scientific data.

During the three-day hybrid conference, Deputy Director of the Institute TECHINFORMI of the Georgian Technical University - Dr. Marina Razmadze together with Viorica Lupu - Deputy Director of the Scientific Agricultural Library of the Technical University of Moldova as beneficiaries of the RDA and EOSC Future projects, had an open dialogue about their experiences as AGRIS Country Hubs and how they joined the RDA and the IGAD community of practice, as well as about the development of FAIR principles and Open Science policies at the national and regional level in the South Caucasus and in the Republic of Moldova.
