WEBINAR: UN Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and Other People Working in Rural Areas (UNDROP) & Seeds and Biodiversity

The adoption of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and Other People Working in Rural Areas (UNDROP) marks an important milestone in the recognition of the rights of rural people. FIAN organizes a series of webinars to discuss how key provisions of this Declaration should be implemented.

During the webinars, representatives of small-scale food producers' organizations as well as civil society organizations' experts will introduce the UNDROP's provisions regarding seeds and biodiversity and discuss ways to advance the rights of small-scale food producers and communities in a context of massive destruction of ecosystems and increasing privatization of seeds.
