This event is held under the framework of the LIVESEED project funded by the European Commission  and the Swiss Government. The project, that started in June 2018, includes 40 partners from 18 countries. Academia, networks and associations will gather on 8-9 May to discuss the current problems around production, marketing and conservation of seeds with a goal to propose alternatives building on traditional organic knowledge.

The event in Spanish aims to enhance the efficiency of the European organic sector by fostering the use of organic seeds and strengthening genetic programmes. The implementation of new rules and their implications for farmers and producers will also be analysed. In addition, the event will seek to establish the priorities that farmers consider necessary and bring them to other discussion forums.
