The Interdisciplinary Studies Center on Organic Agriculture of the University of the Philippines Los Baños will hold this conference on the theme, “Multi-faceted Strategies of Organic Agriculture Contributing to Sustainable Development Goals” on July 29-31, 2020.

The Conference will gather organic agriculture champions, advocates, practitioners, professionals, academics and researchers with the objective of making meaningful connections with stakeholders in the organic agriculture field and industry.

The Conference will aim firstly to share and synthesize knowledge and experiences, science research outputs, indigenous and traditional knowledge systems, good practices, opportunities and innovations and multi-faceted strategies by which organic agriculture contributes to the attainment of the SDGs. As a second objective, the event will identify strategies and directions to mainstream organic agriculture’s significance towards the attainment of the SDGs. Eventually, collaborative mechanisms will be promoted to strengthen the organic agriculture sector while contributing to the SDGs.
