From February 6 to 16, 2023, DyTAES will organize the 4th edition of the Days of Agroecology which will focus on the theme of territorialization. The general objective of this 4th edition of the Days and Night of Agroecology is to initiate a new cycle of national and local political dialogue to support the territorialisation of agroecology.

In 2022, DyTAES organized a large caravan across the whole country, marked by an important information and awareness-raising action, exchange of experiences and political dialogue. This caravan mobilized the national DyTAES network and the actors of rural territories from February 7 to March 15, with the main objectives of: (i) stimulating or strengthening the DyTAELs, (ii) collecting operational policy recommendations with a view to feeding the Emerging Green Senegal Plan (Green PSE); (iii) capitalize on ongoing agro-ecological initiatives in the territories. In June 2022, a caravan restitution workshop was organized in Dakar to consolidate and validate the results of the caravan.

In order to present the results of this consultation and open a new cycle of political dialogue, the DyTAES is organizing the 4th edition of the JAE . This new edition of the JAE will be, in part, decentralized in order to highlight the actors of the territories as major actors of the agroecological transition. Thus, the JAE will be held from February 6 to 13 in the regions and from February 14 and 15 in Dakar. These days will end with the Evening of Agroecology on February 16, 2023.
