La bière est l'une des boissons les plus anciennes connues aujourd'hui. La culture du brassage est étroitement liée à l'agriculture. Deux ingrédients sur trois (le malt et le houblon) sont issus de l'agriculture. Presque toutes les céréales peuvent être utilisées pour produire du malt, mais il est préférable d'utiliser du seigle ou de l'orge. Au cours de l'histoire, les êtres humains ont abandonné de nombreuses coutumes, la vie de l'Homo Sapiens a changé au point d'être méconnaissable, mais la bière a toujours été un fidèle compagnon.
