Achieving better production in Asia-Pacific through digital agriculture
In the Asia-Pacific region, FAO is working with its Member Nations to help them advance to the 2030 Agenda by achieving the Four Betters: better production, better nutrition, better environment and a better life – leaving no one behind. This short video looks at how a cooperative-run Digital Village Service Centre in Lahiri Mohanpur in rural Bangladesh is promoting innovation and connectivity. Thereby transforming the lives and livelihoods of smallholder dairy farmers and processors. FAO’s global Digital Village Initiative supports inclusive, gender-sensitive rural development and sustainable agrifood systems transformation.
