The workshop was organized by FAO in collaboration with BioForsk (Norwegian Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Research, Norway), IWMI (International Water Management Institute, India), MSSRF (MS Swaminathan Research Foundation, India), WALAMTARI (Water and Land Management Training and Research Institute, India) and ICRISAT (Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture, India).The 27 participants were all from India.
