Objectives

Within this context, the objectives of the workshop were: 

1. To assess the impacts of climate change on agriculture, forestry, fisheries and land and water resource management in the ASEAN Plus Three countries;
2. To analyze their implications for food security and livelihoods in major agro-ecosystems/geographical regions;
3. To discuss policy, institutional and technical options for climate change adaptation and mitigation; and
4. To identify priority areas and proper mechanisms for regional coordination and cooperation.
