Camelles - Horizons of the Desert: Honoring the Past, Building the Future

Camelles ("Horizons of the Desert: Honoring the Past, Building the Future"), organized by partners from five continents, celebrated the significant contributions of women to promoting sustainable practices, cultural heritage, economic development, and innovation across multiple sectors — including industry, sports, science, adventure tourism, and culture.

The event featured keynote speakers, panel discussions, interactive workshops, cultural performances, and adventure showcases, culminating in a set of actionable recommendations to be shared with relevant global organizations. In line with the International Year of the Camelids and International Women’s Day, Camelles did not only honour the past but also shaped a more inclusive and sustainable future in the camel sector.
