This section is organized in two parts. The first covers modules on agricultural production in the different agricultural subsectors (crops, livestock, forestry and fisheries and aquaculture), considering sector-specific climate impacts and climate-smart options. A module on Integrated Production Systems describes principles and provides concrete examples of combining two or more sub-sectors to enhance resource use efficiency and deliver on the objectives of CSA. The second part comprises modules that address the climate-smart use of diverse natural resources (water, land, and genetic resources) and energy, and delineate how a climate smart approach reaches beyond the farm to value chains and food systems.
