General info for participants

The 36th Session of the Committee on Fisheries is scheduled to convene from 8 to 12 July 2024. In accordance with Article V-6 of the FAO Constitution, all FAO Members and Observers are cordially invited to participate.

This Session will adopt a hybrid format, with proceedings hosted at the FAO Headquarters and also accessible online via Zoom for Members and Observers unable to attend in person.

The 36th session will be conducted in all FAO official languages, namely Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish.

To ensure the active engagement of designated representatives from FAO Member states, nominations must be submitted through the FAO Members Gateway by the June 29, 2024.

For COFI Observers wishing to attend the session, completion of the registration form available here is mandatory and must be done by June 29, 2024.
