GFOI South-South exchange forum 2026 (SSX) - Joint opening plenary session

The opening plenary of the "GFOI country forum: A South-South knowledge exchange" brings together representatives from tropical forest countries to exchange experiences and strengthen international collaboration on forest monitoring. Featuring welcome remarks, a country keynote address and a panel discussion, the session explores the use of national forest monitoring systems (NFMSs) for measurement, reporting and verification (MRV), transparency in commodity value chains and long-term institutionalization.
