Cairo, Egypt - Within the framework of the efforts made nationally to advance the palm and date sector and increase the added value and exports of dates to international markets, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) announced today the launch of a strategy for developing the palm cultivation and date production sector in the Arab Republic of Egypt in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, represented by Central Laboratory for Palm Research.
