23 years ago, Ioan Neagoș established a milk processing company called Carmo-Lact Prod SRL. Currently, in addition to the factory in which all the products are manufactured under “Monor” brand, he also has a cow farm which provides the raw material for the factory, and a vegetal  arm. He wants to continue the investments and to access other European funds in addition to the  five projects already completed. He intends to prepare products based on famous recipes, but  also from ecological milk, like kefir and pressed cheese. 

Ioan Neagoș, from Monor, Bistrita County, Romania  is one of the producers who has already initiated the procedure to obtain the certificate for four products prepared based on famous  recipes. A famous recipe is a tradition of the Romanian nation, which has perpetuated, a recipe which might  be more than 30 years old, up to 100 years old or even more. In the opinion of the producer, all those from this field should use the recipes prepared only with Romanian milk, in this way helping the local market. Moreover, these products based on famous recipes will be easily identified by the consumers. “After certification, there is a logo which you have the right to place on the respective product, and I think, in this way, we make the Romanian consumer aware and determine him Ioan Neagoș – the man with five completed European projects and 23 years of investments in milk production and processing to buy such product, these being not only products prepared based on famous recipes, but also prepared in Romania from Romanian milk”, said Ioan Neagoș, General Manager of Carmo-Lact Factory.
