Based on the opportunity offered to Romania by the European Union by the funding Axis 4 - LEADER within the National Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 at the initiative of eight administrative units since the beginning of 2011, it was established in the County of Arad the Miniș-Măderat Vineyard Local Action Group Association. The total population of the area is of 36 444 inhabitants, on 901 km², with a density of 40.44 inhabitants/km². Local Development Strategy of Podgoria Miniș-Măderat LAG has been allocated for implementation, a non- refundable amount of 2,309,000 Euro, plus private contribution of the beneficiaries. Starting with the spring of 2012, private traders, individuals, local governments and civil entities have submitted applications for funding at the LAG headquarters during the 11 sessions of submitting projects.
