The Farm-Success Project was started by a kick-off meeting on the TUM campus of Weihenstephan in Freising, Germany on the 22-23^rd October 2015. Representatives from each of the Project’s eight partners attended the kick-off meeting; the first meeting of many transnational meetings held throughout the duration of the Project. The kick-off meeting not only provided a platform to commence project activities and management, but also for the Farm-Success Project partners to meet in person and discuss their vision for the project as well as on ways to collaborate successfully for the length of the Project. Accordingly, the first day of the meeting comprised of introductory presentations from each of the project partners, followed by presentations on the current situation of succession processes on family farms in each represented country. The second day of the meeting focused on project management and reporting procedures, in addition to monitoring and evaluation of the Project.
