活动将聚焦森林、水资源与气候关系的最新科学成果。森林资源丰富国家的决策者将展开对话，讨论如何利用各种创新促进森林提供重要的与水相关的生态系统服务。

活动将论证确保森林景观和生态系统服务能力需要的是有效管理和监测水资源，而非新的管理方法。

科技进步在现有管理方法中发挥了日益重要的作用，为决策提供信息，确保决策过程考虑了森林与水资源的关系，且知晓多种生态系统服务可能产生的合力与取舍。跨部门政策必须认识到这一点。

受邀演讲嘉宾都在各自政府中参与跨部门行动，完全了解森林、水资源和农业之间的关系。

目标

• 介绍森林、水资源与气候关系的最新科学和工具。
