A great number of G77 + China Members participated in the traditional handover ceremony held on 11 January 2012, expressing their support for the incoming Chair, H.E. Gladys Urbaneja Durán, Ambassador of the Republic of Venezuela to FAO, and praising the outgoing Chairperson, H.E. Hassan Abouyoub, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to FAO.
