The Geospatial Unit of the Land and Water Division (NSL) at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is organizing a consultation on the use of Global Agro-ecological Zoning (GAEZ) information for cross-sectoral applications. Case-studies on the use of AEZ information to assess wealth, climate risks, investments in agriculture and land inequality will be presented from various technical Departments of FAO.
