The GFCM was received by the Algerian Minister, Yacine Oualid, to strengthen cooperation in the fisheries sector

The Algerian Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, H.E. Yacine Oualid met with Miguel Bernal, GFCM Executive Secretary and Sergi Tudela, GFCM subregional coordinator for the Western Mediterranean.

This meeting allowed for the identification of priority areas for cooperation and the exploration of opportunities for mobilizing funding and technical partnerships to benefit the national and regional fisheries and aquaculture sector.
