The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is driving sustainable development in Ghana through its Country Programming Framework (CPF) 2023-2025. This strategic initiative focuses on three core priorities:

  • Transformative approaches for sustainable food production,
  • strengthening rural livelihoods,
  • promoting climate resilience.

These efforts align with the FAO Strategic Framework 2022-2031 which supports countries to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Strategic Framework is organized into four areas: better production, better nutrition, a better environment and a better life.
