FAO and the Intake Center for Dietary Assessment have jointly convened a meeting about “Dietary Data Collection, Analysis and Use: Taking Stock of Country Experiences and Promising Practices in Low- and Middle-Income Countries” on 11–13 December 2019 at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy.

The FAO/WHO GIFT platform now has 22 datasets available. You can now access ready-to-use infographics and download the full microdata of 7 nationwide surveys and 15 sub-national surveys from different countries.

This Call for Expression of Interest, issued by FAO, is to identify institutions from low- and middle-income countries, with access to Individual Quantitative Food Consumption (IQFC) data that could be shared through the FAO/WHO GIFT platform.

The Food and Nutrition Division at FAO led a 3-week training course with 25 participants gathered in Vientiane, Lao PDR and others on Zoom to explain how to use dietary data.

Платформа GIFT ФАО/ВОЗ будет представлена на параллельном мероприятии Форума по науке, технологиям и инновациям (НТИ) 6 мая 2022 года, 7:30-9:00 EDT / 13.30-15.00 CEST, после сопоставления инициатив, связанных с цифровыми технологиями, в рамках системы ООН, где было получено 489 материалов от 39 подразделений ООН.
