The Global Record Pilot Project
Eleven countries agreed to participate in a Pilot Project in which they inputted official data into the Global Record Information System.
This served as a test of the actual Global Record Information System before it was expanded to all countries participating in it.
The Pilot Project started off with FAO developing a prototype system and assisting participating countries or entities in inputting specific information into this online database. Once the initial tests were carried out and changes to the system were made to make it more operational, the first version of the Global Record system was launched.
The eleven Pilot Project partners were:

Colombia

Comoros

Ghana

Iceland

Indonesia

Mauritius

Mozambique

Philippines
