The European Soil Laboratory Network (EUROSOLAN), part of the Global Soil Laboratory Network (GLOSOLAN), aims to strengthen regional collaboration and technical capacity among soil laboratories. GLOSOLAN, one of the technical networks of FAO and its Global Soil Partnership (GSP), aims to standardize soil analysis methods and improve the comparability of data worldwide.

The 13th Plenary Assembly of the Global Soil Partnership (GSP) will take place from 3 to 5 June 2025 at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) headquarters in Rome. The event, which coincides with FAO’s 80th anniversary, is set to bring together global stakeholders to advance sustainable soil management and restoration efforts.

Moscow – PhosAgro and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) have launched a series of scientific and practical workshops dedicated to soil recarbonization as part of the RECSOIL project.

Soil pollution has been internationally recognized as a major threat to soil health and its capacity to provide ecosystems services, including the production of safe and sufficient food. Soil pollution is a chemical degradation process that threatens fertile soils, with implications for global food security and human health. Soil pollution hinders the achievement of many Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including achieving no poverty (SDG 1), zero hunger (SDG 2), ensuring healthy lives and well-being (SDG 3), halting and reversing land degradation and biodiversity loss (SDG 15), and making cities safe and resilient (SDG 11).
