The Green Cities Initiative aims to empower local governments, city planners, developers, and residents to maximize the benefits of multifunctional green infrastructure. This approach integrates urban and peri-urban forestry, urban agriculture, and the
circular bioeconomy into the urban fabric, with the aim to deliver environmental, social, and economic benefits to urban dwellers worldwide.
To further this effort, this Resource page provides a range of learning materials, guidelines, policy and advocacy tools, to support countries implement and mainstream multifunctional green infrastructure in their specific contexts.
