Sharks are among the most fascinating marine predators in existence. They are both feared and admired around the world, and yet they are a vulnerable group that is often misunderstood.
For decades, the EAF-Nansen Programme has collected data and information on demersal and pelagic sharks, creating a comprehensive shark record which is critical to better understanding these important marine predators and to improve their conservation and management.
