Signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) between FAO and NBI
A memorandum of Understanding between FAO and the Nile Basin Initiative (NBI) on the collaboration regarding development activities in the Kagera River Basin has been signed in August 2012. The Parties agree to collaborate for i) facilitating co-operation between FAO/Kagera TAMP, FAO/MICCA and Vi Agroforestry; and ii) increasing cooperation in support of improved agro-ecosystem conservation and management in the Kagera River Basin and other areas of East Africa.
