29/10/2021

We are delighted to announce that WaPOR has been reviewed by the Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA) and has been found to be a digital public good in alignment with the Digital Public Goods Standard.

DPGA is a multi-stakeholder initiative endorsed by the United Nations Secretary-General, working to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in low- and middle-income countries by promoting digital public goods in order to create a more equitable world.

This recognition further demonstrates the added-value of the WaPOR portal as offering as an open content that provides information and makes digital solutions more easily available to decision makers and farmers all around the world.

WaPOR can be found in the digital public goods registry where it is discoverable as such and reflected on a growing network of catalogs and aggregated lists of digital public goods.
