Workshop to present the field data collection – crop mapping for the winter season in the Jericho and Jordan Valley Governorate, Palestine

The Applied Research Institute-Jerusalem (ARIJ) in coordination with the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) and the Palestinian Water Authority (PWA), has organized a workshop to present the field data collection – crop mapping for the winter season in the Jericho and Jordan Valley Governorate.

The workshop was organized under the FAO project “Monitoring land and water productivity by Remote Sensing (WaPOR phase 2)” funded by the government of the Netherlands in close collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture. 

The training took place on Tuesday, 30 April 2024 in Ramallah, Palestine. Around thirty participants from different government institutions, non-governmental organizations, the National Agriculture Research Center (NARC) and universities participated to the activity.
