Adhésion
L’adhésion est ouverte aux États Membres ou Membres associés de la FAO, sans frais.
La Commission peut, à la majorité des deux tiers, admettre comme membres d’autres États membres de l’ONU, de ses agences spécialisées ou de l’AIEA.
Les sessions sont également ouvertes aux observateurs des États membres de la FAO qui manifestent un intérêt pour les peupliers, les saules et autres espèces à croissance rapide.
Pour adhérer à la CIP, un pays doit:
- Être membre de la FAO ou de l’ONU / de ses agences spécialisées / de l’AIEA.
- Soumettre une demande formelle accompagnée d’une déclaration d’acceptation de la Convention en vigueur, signée par le Chef d’État, le Chef de gouvernement ou le Ministre compétent.
- Établir une Commission nationale regroupant toutes les parties prenantes nationales.
