FAO and  Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) are co-publishing a Handbook for Parliamentarians on Nutrition and Food Systems to support parliamentarians’ strong engagement in ensuring that the necessary legislative tools on nutrition and food systems are put in place and will help them to identify concrete action towards achieving food systems which deliver good nutrition for all. Partners including WHO, UNICEF, SUN and NEPAD have supported with technical inputs and review. The publication is expected to be finalized for the next IPU General Assembly.

At regional and country level, ESNP is collaborating with colleagues from the partnership division on Special Coordination for Parliamentary Alliances and regional and country stakeholders to support parliamentary alliances with nutrition and food systems guidance and capacity strengthening.
