Programme Against African Trypanosomosis (PAAT)

Progressive Control Pathway for African animal trypanosomosis

Progressive Control Pathways (PCPs) and the related roadmaps are staged, stepwise approaches increasingly used to structure the road to disease reduction and freedom for a range of human and animal diseases, including foot-and-mouth disease, peste des petits ruminants, brucellosis and rabies.

The PCP for African Animal Trypanosomosis is developed and promoted by FAO within the framework of PAAT, and in collaboration with IAEA, AU-PATTEC and CIRAD.
