This FAO international course on the coordinated implementation of the Three Treaties has been designed to strengthen the capacities of labour, maritime, and fisheries agencies in the coordinated implementation of the three treaties that aim or contribute to combatting illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing. The course also provides extensive practical training. Lectures and practical sessions are delivered by FAO, IMO and ILO, national authorities and guest lecturers. This course forms part of the FAO Fisheries Global Training Programme (GTP) under the Global Capacity Development Programme in support of the implementation of the FAO Agreement on Port State Measures and complementary international instruments.
