Grenada’s Ministry of Agriculture, Lands, Fisheries and Cooperatives has partnered with FAO to launch two projects aimed at promoting digital agriculture and resilient food systems across the Caribbean Island.

The projects, entitled: “the Global Network of Digital Agriculture Innovation Hubs (DAIH) and the Regional E-Agriculture for the Caribbean – a post-COVID-19 Mechanism to advance resilient agrifood (REA),” were launched at a workshop held from 22 to 24 March in the capital St. George.

Highlights and way forward from the TAP-AIS project

This brief gives an overview of the TAP-AIS project in Cambodia, implemented from January 2020 to December 2022. At the country level, the TAP-AIS project works to strengthen capacities to innovate and the innovation policy environment. In Cambodia, the project strengthened the capacities of three key institutions to innovate: the Cambodian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), Cambodia Conservation Agriculture and Sustainable Intensification Consortium (CASIC) and the Department of Extension for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DEAFF).
