FAO is organizing a seminar on “environmental resources and food losses and waste” at the Dresden Nexus Conference 2015 . The conference takes place from 25-27 March 2015 in Dresden, Germany under the heading of ”Global Change, Sustainable Development Goals and the Nexus Approach”. The seminar is an open invitation for a discussion on a) how to assess the environmental footprint of food losses and waste (FLW), particularly for water, land, climate and biodiversity, and in b) thinking about possible solutions to prevent, reduce, reuse and recycle FLW.
