Using foresight in food safety

Vittorio Fattori, FAO Food Safety Officer, explains that food may look different in the future than it does today but it still needs to be safe for human consumption. Foresight - a structured, forward-thinking approach – can build a better understanding of the drivers and trends that may affect the safety of our food. It can support strategic preparedness for future challenges or opportunities.
