Fundación para la Innovación Agraria (FIA)
FIA is the innovation agency of Chile’s Ministry of Agriculture, dedicated to enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of the agri-food and forestry sectors through technological advancement. It acts as a key catalyst for development by funding private and public innovation projects, providing technical training for rural youth and women, and fostering collaboration across the industry. FIA focuses its strategic efforts on critical modern challenges, such as climate change adaptation, efficient water management, and the development of sustainable food systems to modernize Chilean agriculture.
