18/03/2024 - 22/03/2024

FAO is hosting a national workshop on SDG indicators 2.1.1 "Prevalence of Undernourishment" and 2.1.2 "Prevalence of moderate or severe food insecurity, based on the Food Insecurity Experience Scale (FIES)" in Yerevan (Armenia) from March 18 to March 22.

Expected outcomes:

To strengthen the capacity of Armstat and other related stakeholders in Armenia in analyzing food security and nutrition data and produce meaningful and reliable indicators to inform SDG monitoring frameworks, policy decision making and to guide food security policies and interventions.

The estimates on SDG indicators 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 are derived using the Integrated Living Conditions Survey 2022 in Armenia - https://armstat.am/en/?nid=15 .
