Agripreneurship across Africa

2019

This publication offers guidance to agripreneurs on how to avoid or overcome potential pitfalls in starting and growing an agribusiness in Africa by learning from the paths set out by the 12 agripreneurs featured. Their stories reflect real-life experiences of agribusiness developmetn in Africa. It should be seen as a resource book on agripreneurship, focused on four topical areas: growing to scale, women, youth, and challenging environments. It also provides guidance for policy-makers and value chain practitioners on how to facilitate an enabling environment for agripreneurship.
