The symposium will be a platform for provocative conversations around the challenges businesses are facing in terms of strengthening competitiveness and accessing new markets, with a particular focus on how sustainability standards can play a role. The symposium will focus on Southeast Asia and explore the theme of sustainable value chains across multiple sectors including fisheries, palm oil, cocoa and forestry, as well as the widespread economic, social and environmental benefits of incorporating responsible practices into value chains.
