Sri Lanka to Modernize Agriculture to Create Jobs, Access Markets and Increase Productivity

The World Bank has approved a $125 million credit from the International Development Association (IDA) to assist Sri Lanka in modernizing its agriculture sector to become more efficient and attractive as a modern business, more responsive to consumer demand, and more environmentally sustainable and resilient to climate change.
