29/03/2023The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Pro-Resilience II project, which focused on building community resilience in Timor-Leste. The project was funded by the European Union and implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MAF) of Timor-Leste. Today marked the 5th and final Project Steering Committee Meeting for the Pro-Resilience II in City 8, Dili, where attendees discussed the project's progress and priority actions for 2023. We extend our sincere thanks to the European Union for their generous funding that made this project possible, and to the MAF directors and municipal administration representatives for their invaluable support and contributions. The Pro-Resilience II project aimed to enhance the resilience of vulnerable communities in Timor-Leste through the implementation of disaster risk reduction measures, sustainable land management, and climate-smart agriculture practices.
