At its Twentieth Regular Session, the Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture requested the Secretariat to convene an open-ended Workshop on climate change and genetic resources for food and agriculture. The Workshop aims to: exchange relevant information and experiences; consider possible revisions to the Voluntary Guidelines to Support the Integration of Genetic Diversity into National Climate Change Adaptation Planning; and discuss how future state‑of‑the‑world reports on genetic resources should address climate change. The Workshop will be held in English, French and Spanish.
