FAO wants to hear about it! Join this photo essay contest and you could win a trip to Bangkok, Thailand

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (FAORAP) has launched a storytelling photo essay contest to raise awareness about the importance of good farming practices to help combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) – one of the greatest threats to lives and livelihoods in our generation.

Contestants are invited to submit their stories with photographs from around Asia and the Pacific to show how good farming practices for infection prevention and control can help to reduce the use of antimicrobials and promote the responsible use of antimicrobials on terrestrial and aquatic farms.

Deadline to submit your photos is October 13th 2017. Click HERE for information on how to enter.

The top three regional entries will be featured on FAO’s digital platform(s) with photographer’s byline and profile, and the winner will be flown to Bangkok, Thailand for two nights to join in the World Antibiotic Awareness Week celebrations at FAO RAP on 13th November.

Contestants accept these rules and conditions to qualify. The contest will be judged FAO staff.
