This workshop was organized by FAO and UNW-DPC in collaboration with the Iranian Ministry of Energy of Iran (Division of Water). The 36 participants were Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, the Syrian Arab Republic, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Yemen and Iran.
