The European Commission for the control of Foot-and-Mouth disease (EuFMD) has developed the European Foot and Mouth Diseases Spread Model (EuFMDiS) to support in preparedness and contingency planning for foot-and-mouth (FMD) and other transboundary animal diseases (FAST) control. The purpose of this training is to enable EuFMDiS new users in emergency preparedness and contingency planning for FMD. In this training. EuFMDiS users will have opportunity to get hands-on training on the aspects of EuFMDiS simulation and modeling. 
Learning objectives:

•Participants will be able to run EuFMDiS using the Graphical User Interface (GUI)

•Participants will be able to extract, analyze and present the EuFMDiS model output data obtained by changing the GUI.

•Participant will be able to communicate the results of model to decision-makers, presenting the assumptions made and limitations of the model.
