Showcasing the Multistakeholder Collaboration Guide During the 2023 Science and Innovation Forum

19/10/2023

FAO is going to host a short talk on institutional innovation today, as part of the Science and Innovation Forum (SIF) currently taking place. Siobhan Kelly, Agribusiness Officer in the Food Systems and Food Safety Division (ESF) in FAO, will be speaking about the multistakeholder collaboration guide launched in June of this year by the FAO, together with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP). The short talk on the guide, Rethinking Our Food Systems: A Guide for Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration will take place in the Atrium at 13:30 CET.

This guide aims to support stakeholders working at all levels of the food system in the implementation of actions to transform their food systems. Centered on 5 building blocks underpinning successful multi-stakeholder collaboration for food systems transformation, the guide uses these constructions to illustrate ingredients of the process and show the interconnectedness of the steps needed to be successful.

The talk is part of the Science and Innovation Forum (SIF). This year's theme of the FAO SIF will be “Science and Innovation for Climate Action”, aligned with the overarching World Food Forum (WFF) theme “Agrifood systems transformation accelerates climate action”.
