Dr. Dr. YOUSSEF EL MOURABIT
Youssef El Mourabit has a PhD in Biology from Ibn Zohr University in Agadir, Morocco. His specialization is animal ecology and biology. Before earning his doctorate, he obtained a Master of Science in Water Management and Treatment from the same university.
His research is focused on the impact of wastewater treatment on living marine organisms and non-living elements of the marine environment. Youssef's work involves monitoring oxidative stress biomarkers, studying marine biology, and analyzing physicochemical parameters. He has contributed to the academic community through numerous publications in conferences and indexed journals, with most of his work focusing on the assessment of pollution, trace metals, pesticides, and their effects on marine organisms.
Currently, Youssef works as a part-time lecturer at Ibn Zohr University, where he shares his knowledge in the field of biology. In addition to his academic role, he has been teaching life and earth sciences in a public high school since 2010, under the Ministry of National Education, Youth, and Sports.
Youssef is also a reviewer for ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH INSIGHTS and the European Scientific Journal, where he contributes to the evaluation and dissemination of scientific research in his field.
