Глобальный форум по продовольственной безопасности и питанию (Форум FSN)

Как положительное, так и отрицательное влияние торговых соглашений на продовольственную безопасность может проявляться различными способами. Взаимосвязь является сложной, а взгляды на оказываемое правилами и соглашениями торговли воздействие на продовольственную безопасность существенно различаются.  Каков ваш опыт? Как соглашения и правила торговли повлияли на четыре измерения продовольственной безопасности? И каким образом можно обеспечить согласованность между мерами по обеспечению продовольственной безопасности и правилами торговли?

16 - 17 декабря 2014 года в штаб-квартире ФАО в Риме состоялся двухдневный семинар «Комплексный диалог по вопросам соответствия торговой политики целям продовольственной безопасности и питания», призванный поддержать дальнейшее развитие Форума FSN в ЕЦА, а также  обеспечить сопричастность к нему региональных действующих лиц (включая представителей гражданского общества, научных и исследовательских кругов, а также правительства).

The aim of this discussion is to share perspectives on actual and potential links between street food vending and urban and periurban agriculture and horticulture, analyzing if and in which way such links may represent the basis for possible strategies to enhance food security in urban areas. 

The FSN Forum hosted a presentation of the book “Street Food. Culture, Economy, Health and Governance” in FAO, 9 December 2014. This book provides a comprehensive perspective on street food, on its immense cultural diversity and economic significance both in developing and developed countries.

Through this discussion we wish to promote dialogue around family farming issues. What can be done to make agriculture stimulating and profitable for young people and what strategies can promote equality for females working in the food system? 

The degree to which the Food Security and Nutrition information produced is actually used by decision makers, and influences policy making, remains unclear. Through this discussion we would like to explore the factors that contribute to our evidence and knowledge actually being used in policy making processes.

To follow up on two rounds of online discussions on the draft Declaration of the Second International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2) held earlier this year, we now invite you to share your comments and inputs on the zero draft of the Framework for Action (FFA). This open consultation gives you an opportunity to contribute to the Conference and to its outcome.

The aim of this forum’s discussion, organized jointly with the ICEAN network, is to identify potential action points and initiatives whereby nutrition education can improve the diet of family farmers and create demand for nutritious local produce among the general public, thus both generating income for farming households and enhancing the nutrition of the public.

10 years ago FAO member states produced and adopted The Right to Food Guidelines, which provide practical guidance on how the human right to adequate food can be realized. The goal of this online discussion is to learn from the first ten years of using the Right to Food Guidelines to get better for the future.
